Hello! Thanks for reading my 6th blog post. Today's topic is a little sadder than normal. I want to tell you about an idea I had to help some people at a homeless shelter. Before we get to that,
I want to talk about a new painting that took 16 hours to make. This is "Okoye, Black Panther Hero!"
I added an insane amount of detail to the whole painting including the background. The background has seven different colors can you spot them all? All of the details in the painting were done by hand, even the small ones, that might be why it took me 16 hours. I can't wait for Black Panther 2 coming May 22, 2022.
Next I want to give a big congratulations to Gigi and Ms. Marcia, my painting teachers, for the Hunter Rowe painting party!!!!! A painting party is when you can learn to paint different pictures, even if you have never painted before.
Also I have just reached my 100th painting! I can't believe I have an inventory of 100 paintings. I'm also shocked I purchased one hundred plus canvases! Now they're so many different paintings to choose from.
Now we should discuss the most important part of this post. A little while ago a church pastor was coming to do his midnight shift at our local homeless shelter. While he was serving the people a man attacked him and the pastor had to be hospitalized. He had several facial fractures. He is still recovering and said, "I am not doing well, my face is very sore." My mom and I go to the women's shelter, which is not far to the men's shelter, every Friday to give cupcakes to them. When we heard about this it was devastating, so I am going to donate a Rainbow Tree Paintingto the Pastor and to the women's shelter where we take the cupcakes. I also am going to use a portion of the money I get from paintings to make blessing bags for the people at the shelter. My goal is to give bags to the Men's and Women's shelter. Blessing bags are bags with things like hats, gloves, socks, hand wipes, tooth brushes, tooth paste, soap, mouth wash, snacks, candy, and other things they could need.
I want to try to help our community, so I can't wait to get started on the bags. If you get a painting from now until June 1st you can help support my business and help give blessing bags to the homeless shelters. For more details click this link.
Finally, I finished this amazing Lion painting. You can go to photos to see it!
Thanks for reading this post! I will have more content and information about the pastor, my 100th painting, the blessing bags, homeless shelter, and Hunter Rowe soon. I hope we can make a difference one painting at a time. If you have questions please share them in the comments below.
